Monogram Personalised Clothing - FAQ
I need my order urgently, can I pay extra and receive it tomorrow?
If you require plain garments (Buy It Now) then so long as we receive your order by 2.00pm the working day before we should be able to get your order despatched on a next day courier in plenty of time. There is an extra cost for this of £8.50 per delivery or consignment.
If you require printed or embroidered garments, then the probable delivery time will be quoted to you when you place your order. A next day delivery is most unlikely but not impossible.
Where is my ordered item?
We mostly use 3 methods of dispatch, Interlink, DPD (both part of GeoPost) and Royal Mail 1st Class. We allow 3 days to process all plain (Buy It Now) orders unless the express delivery option has been paid for. To mainland UK, Interlink and DPD are a next day service and Royal Mail 1st Class is “mostly” next day. If you are not in when the delivery is made a calling card will be left for you. For Royal Mail, this will mean that you need to go to your sorting office to collect the parcel.
Interlink and DPD will need a signature, so will not leave your order in the garage or anywhere else.
For Europe deliveries please allow longer, for example, delivery to islands in the Mediterranean can take up to 3 weeks using the Post.
If your order still does not arrive please contact us at shop@monogram.co.uk
My garment doesn’t fit, how do I return it?
For plain ("Buy It Now") orders, please return the goods within 30 days of ordering with the original delivery ticket (we need the order number) and a
short note saying if you would prefer an exchange or a refund. It is most important that the goods are returned in a saleable condition, with any labels
and swing tickets still attached and in the original bag.
For printed or decorated garments, I’m afraid we do not accept any returns whatever the circumstances.
How will it be delivered?

Can I collect my order?
Yes, so long as it is agreed with us in advance. We are open 5 days a week from 9.00 to 5.30. Please get in contact to arrange. shop@monogram.co.uk
Do you send outside of the UK?
Yes. We can post small orders to all parts of Europe, but please be patient it does take longer to arrive. We can also use DPD for a faster service but rates do vary so please get in contact for a quote.
Do your prices include VAT?
All the "Buy It Now" prices you see in this website are for plain stock garments and these prices include VAT at the current rate (except most kids clothing as they are VAT exempt). The printed and embroidered prices quoted on the website exclude VAT.
How can I pay?
Currently you can pay by debit or credit card (unfortunately, not American Express). Soon we will also be able to take Paypal.
How can I send you my logo?
If you are requiring your garments to be embroidered then please send your logo through to us in a JPEG format. We can accept others such as PDF but JPEG is generally the easiest to work with. We then convert your design into an embroidery format that our machines can understand. In all cases we will attempt to submit an embroidered swatch of your logo to you first for you to sign off. We can then confidently start on our job. In the case of an urgent rushed job we would prefer to scan the embroidered swatch, which you can then sign off. The design is then kept in on storage discs ready for your repeat order.
If you are interested in having a screen print job undertaken by us then the best format is EPS. In this process there is no sampling as it is just not possible to set up the machines to do a 1 off. If you are requiring a print onto a dark colour then we will need to print a flash colour first. This is generally a white print that sits beneath your print to make it stand out. You won’t actually see the flash colour. Because of the way screens are stored we are not able to keep a design for longer than 3 months. So if you need a repeat order outside of this time scale you will incur another set up charge.
Does my embroidered logo have fewer than 8000 stitches?
With out seeing your logo, who can say? But send it through in a JPEG format and we will soon let you know. The average left breast design is 5000 stitches.
What if my logo is more than 8000 stitches?
If this is the case, then when we know exactly how many more, we will requote to embroider your garments.
What if I don’t want my logo on the left breast?
So long as your logo is under the 8000 stitches and in 1 position you can put it, pretty much, anywhere. Other popular places include the right breast, either sleeve or high on the back just below the collar.
What if I want 2 or more logos?
Assuming that both designs are below the 8000 stitch threshold then the first logo will be FREE and the other will depend on how many garments you are ordering.
| 6-49 garments | £3.00 per extra logo | |
| 50-99 garments | £2.50 per extra logo | |
| 100+ garments | £2.00 per extra logo |
What if I want a big logo on the back?
These will depend on how many stitches are in the finished design. But as a rule of thumb:
| 6-49 garment | £5.00 per big logo | |
| 50-99 garments | £4.00 per big logo | |
| 100+ garments | £3.50 per big logo |
Can I have individual names under my logo and do I have to pay for a new set up with each name?
Personalisation is no problem and they only cost £2.50 per name. We have 10 in house letter styles ( but 99% of customers choose 1 of 2 different styles, plain block or joined up script). So long as you choose 1 of these 10 style then there will be no set up cost.
So how long does it all take?
2-3 weeks is the normal lead-time, especially if we are making you a new logo. But if you do need your order processing quickly then let our sales team know at the point of ordering, as we do not like to let any one down. If however, you must have your order within 5 working days we will charge you an extra 10% on top of your total bill to push your order to the front of the queue.
